Spending much more time playing this game than I assumed I would when purchasing. The ability to add a user-created processing plant anywhere on the map would be a reasonable alternative, the way that bus and train stations can be added now. The more time I spend with the game, the more of a drag it is to have to transport raw materials all over the map multiple times to get finished goods to market. I understand that tricky logistics make the game more challenging, But the game is plenty challenging enough without introducing unrealistic elements. The most annoying feature is a tendency for the AI to place raw material extraction sites and manufacturing facilities at opposite ends of the map, when in reality a processing plant would be located near a raw materials site in order to minimize shipping costs. But for sure there ought to at least be an undo button. Best would be unlimited or at least multiple levels of undo/redo. The current updates are a welcome addition. This is a great game, with beautiful graphics and challenging gameplay. Plop this onto your laptop and while away those long waits at the airport, or whatever.Īnd the price is right, too. So tired of multi-player fair requiring always-on Internet connections and things.

And thank goodness for a single-player offline entertainment. I have not experienced ant glitches or negative issues thus far. great for either time when you want a leisurely multi-tasking experience or a break-neck pace to get things done NOW! Like Sim City you also can set the speed of play from "normal" to "faster", to "fastest" and even pause the game. More campaigns would be nice, but the "free play" is great also. The graphics are stunning, the User Interface is great, and the game-play is wonderful. This is the Sim City I always wanted Sim City to be: allowing me to maganage a different aspect of things (not managing an entire city, but one corporate aspect). I'm not experiencing any of the issues reported in other reviews and I'm playing on a 5k iMac with macOS Mojave. Go to YouTube, search for "PinStar" - look at his playlists and go to "Popular Series" - then watch "Transport Fever - Strategy & Tactics ("Transport Fever Strategy & Tactics #1: 1850's Hard Mode (Penny Pincher)" - THIS will make the game a joy to play!
